Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before accessing or using the Tech-Ready Teen course (the “Course”) and the Screen Smartz website and services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Screen Smartz LLC (“Screen Smartz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing, accessing, or using the Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase or use the Course.

1. PURPOSE OF THE COURSE

Tech-Ready Teen is an educational program designed to help parents and teens develop healthier, safer, and more intentional relationships with technology. The Course is informational and educational in nature only.

2. ELIGIBILITY & HOUSEHOLD USE

The Course is intended to be used by:

  • One (1) household per purchase
  • Parents and guardians and their children living in the same household

Each purchase grants a single, non-transferable license for household use only.

3. ACCOUNT ACCESS & LOGIN SHARING 

Your purchase provides access for one household only.

You may not:

  • Share your login credentials with individuals outside your household
  • Allow friends, extended family, schools, co-ops, or groups to access the Course
  • Sell, lend, sublicense, or otherwise transfer access
  • Use the Course for classroom, group, or organizational instruction without written permission

We reserve the right to monitor account usage for security and compliance purposes.

Unauthorized sharing of login credentials or misuse of access may result in immediate suspension or termination of access without refund.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content included in the Course, including but not limited to:

  • Videos
  • Scripts and narration
  • Slides and graphics
  • Worksheets and PDFs
  • Curriculum materials
  • Logos, branding, and design elements

is the exclusive property of Screen Smartz LLC and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display Course materials
  • Record, screen-capture, or repost videos
  • Upload Course content to file-sharing platforms or social media
  • Create derivative works or competing products using Course materials

Any unauthorized use constitutes copyright infringement.

5. PERMITTED USE

You may:

  • View Course materials for personal, household educational use
  • Download worksheets or resources where expressly permitted
  • Engage in Course discussions and activities within your household

All other uses are prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing by Screen Smartz.

6. DISCLAIMER – NOT THERAPY, MEDICAL, OR LEGAL ADVICE

The Course is for educational purposes only.

  • The Course does not constitute therapy, counseling, medical advice, or legal advice
  • Participation does not create a therapist-client or professional relationship

7. REFUNDS

If you are not satisfied with the Course, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase. Upon refund, your access to the Course will be revoked.

8. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Course immediately, without notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Share login credentials
  • Infringe on our intellectual property
  • Engage in misuse or abuse of the Service

Sections related to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability shall survive termination.

9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Service may include links to third-party websites or resources. Screen Smartz is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites.

You access third-party resources at your own risk.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Screen Smartz LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Course.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. CHANGES TO TERMS
